Finishing Strong-End of the Marathon
Here is the picture of Peter, Taylor and her Mom at the finish line of the Las Vegas Marathon. What an inspiring story to those who observed Peter pushing Taylor through 25 mph winds, Taylor singing songs and Peter with a smile on his face. Taylor, afflicted with cerebral palsy, finds great satisfaction in completing this feat.
There is a message throughout the Bible that we are to finish strong in all we do. Life is a marathon, not a sprint and there are uphills to run and fortunately some downhills, too. Joshua was told to have courage, Paul in the New Testament talks about persistence, discipline and believing God’s power to accomplish any assigned task. Proverbs speaks of the power of wisdom and defines success in the 3rd chapter.
As you look at this happy group of 3 at the end of the race, there is a message in the joy of fulfilling a vision, enduring some pain, and finishing strong. If we can serve you at Living Perspectives in any way, please contact me through the blog or directly at 206.295.1820. Blessings.
